Eating disorders are a growing epidemic. Seven million American women, and up to 70 million people worldwide, have an eating disorder. They appear in girls as young as 6 years old, and can continue to plague women through their 70’s. The need for intense and effective treatment is striking and Serenity works to achieve that goal.
Recovery from an eating disorder is a process of finding balance. The complex nature of anorexia and bulimia leave women feeling powerless and locked into a cycle of unhealthy behavior.
