The few eating disorder centers that exist in the US are nearly all located on either coast and many of them demand clients to engage in high-paced daily schedules. Most facilities overlook the importance of a stress-free environment and close their eyes to the significance of healing in the presence of a peaceful calm. The unmet need for eating disorder treatment in the Texas area inspired the creation of Serenity.
Currently, Serenity is scheduled to open in 2009 in Dallas, TX.
